Photographer's Note

This photo was taken at midnight by the "Light of the Blue moon" It was a most unusual photo opportunity as the Full Blue Moon was just in the right position creating a "bright" light. The clouds had cleared- the Outside Temperature was close to freezing and all this started at midnight - the start to the next decade.. -- I call that a great omen for the new decade. ( hopefully it works out that way. The lights on the bush are street lights.. I liked the effect this gave as it is the first time I have tried long exposures by the light of the moonlight.. However what a special event.. the Blue moon and what a perfect way to see the New Year in.. The Cottage is the Lock keepers cottage in a wonderful Oxfordshire Village called Cropredy..
