Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I don't often do close-ups of people but I was intrigued by this lady when we were exploring the grounds of Castle Howard. (I will post photographs of the building later. Although the postal address of the castle is York, it is actually 15 miles from York, and nearer to Malton.)

I was totally captivated by her presence, as she sat in the huge gardens. She was busily writing in a notebook and quite unaware of anyone around. She immediately made me think of a modern Jane Austen. Had she been dressed in different clothes, she could easily have fitted naturally into her setting.

The fact that she was dressed in red, added to her attraction.

I added a slight filter to enhance the mood.

I will add a workshop of a second photograph of the lady. It shows more of her features but has less atmosphere.

I wish you a happy w/e, Bev :-)
