Photographer's Note
Here are more valuable mills in Skipton, Yorkshire. Most of them nowadays are being sypmathetically transformed into high class living accomodation. I am unquestionably happy that these sturdy, grand, work buildings are being adapted to a suitable purpose rather than being pulled down as has happened in a lot of Lancashire towns!

Hello Beverley,
Nice photo,
Agree nice to see these good solid buildings being used, renovated into living accomodation.
As has happened in many of our towns and cities in the U.K.

Hi Beverley,
What an interesting picture. Those are really grand old buildings. I like the way the dark red fire escape stands out.
Nice composition.

One picture from past years that did not get much attention, Beverley.
The note shed light on what we see here, a mill that now is a dwellings, and as you written were not demolished but renovated.
There is a good scale across the old wall in the FG, trees added green to the picture.
Good afternoon,
Ike
