Nice capture. the black from the tracks really highlighting the snow. Must have been really cold up there yesterday! Seeing as there is not much of interest in teh sky, I would have been tempted to crop the top of the image a little which I think would also add to the dynamism of the lines of the tracks.

What a nice place to live! Very seasonal variation on the road theme. Nicely composed, with a a lot of lines taking a satisfactory path throught the image.

Even the tree's positioned almost in the middle, the road is the main subject, leading the eye towards the hills in the background. A very moody winter scene, Stephen. I like it for its wide, put it to my favs thatfor... Great work. Got a b&w to compare the impressions?

Very good shot, Stephen. The curving track leads the eye nicely into the picture. Good contrast and composition too. Nice to see what the weather is like in another part of the country - there's no snow here in the south :-)

I love this contrast between the strong white of the entire ground, so bright in so many areas, and then this dark tracks and fence moving through it. The curve and the perspective both give an inviting feel that makes me want to follow the tracks. I like the slight detail in the sky, also forming a sort of line that makes the eye move from foreground to background. The textures are great, too, capturing the tracks even more vividly. Great work capturing this one in the chilly weather.
