Photographer's Note

Snow showers running down the North Sea coast in the first serious wintry spell of the season.

The small building is Trough House, now a grouse shooters shelter; it has an interesting history which includes being a hotbed of (then) radical religious preaching by Methodist ministers in the 19th Century.
Beyond is the Esk Valley and you can see Whitby on a clear day.
