Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This morning I'm showing just a little of the effects of our unusually hot spring and summer.

Please click on Green Becomes Yellow to enjoy much clearer details of the photograph.

Where England is called a 'green and pleasant land' by William Blake, it is slowly loosing much of its greenness.

This field would normally be lush and green at this time of year but the farmer has allowed his sheep onto the field to selectively graze what is left and even the sheep don't wish to venture out! They are all crouching in the shade of the tree.

(I have cropped the photograph and enlarged the tree area just to show the sheep, since they were not the main focus of my composition but are still interesting. I will add it as a w/s.)

I will add another workshop showing the effects. I was unsure which to have as my main post but, I suppose, it matters not if both can be seen.

Have a lovely day, Bev :-)
