Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This morning I show you a postcard from Knaresborough.

Please click on Knaresborough a Scenic Delight to see the photograph much clearer and larger.

This is the view of the River Nidd and the Victorian viaduct as seen from the castle grounds. It is such a beautiful view that there is a pathway from the castle right down to the riverside, with benches at intervals where you can sit to enjoy the view.

(I will add a workshop to show the view from a little higher up the path here .)

If you look closely, at the right of the photograph, you will see a viewing platform. It is a good idea but does not give the best view, as trees now obscure part of the scene.

Thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
