Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I am going to post a few shots of the pretty village of Helmsley. Non of them is particularly special but all giving a glimpse of this old Yorkshire village.

My main post shows a group queuing for an ice-cream. I chose this shot as my main because I liked the diagonal of the queue and the thought of this tough-looking, leather-clad biker, emulating older ladies.

Please click on Too Hot for Leathers! to see the photograph larger and with clearer details.

Although the sky was clouded and it looks dull, the clouds were trapping in the heat and believe me, it was very warm! I'm sure the ice-cream shop had a very busy day!

You can see how the village adds to its visual appeal by placing flower displays all around.

I will post two other shots, one which shows this corner from a different angle. Maybe some will think this should have been the main post as it is much busier!

I wish you all a lovely day, Bev 😀
