Photographer's Note

We walked on paths through the beautiful heather until we were in sight of Roseberry Topping again. I think this is a fairly unique view of just the top of it. It demonstrates the height of the moorland around here too. I had a choice of two. I prefer the composition of this one, but am not so pleased with the quality. The one in the WS is one I took earlier on the path, before I realised there would be a better POV.

From here it was about a 2 mile walk through the forest back to the car. While in the forest there was a thunderstorm and a torrential down pour. Lucky us; it’s not ideal being in a forest in a thunderstorm.

I’ve just set up a travelogue for the walk so to see the other photos of the walk just click the travelogue (left)

This could be my last post for a while as we are off walking in Sardinia at the week-end. See you when we get back with some more photos to share I hope.
