This is a strange village with several rather ostentatious houses.
The same could be said of the church. which is over the top for such a small village.
However it does now act as the main church for surrounding villages also.

Very nice work Colin!
The details of the architecture is very clear. Taking the leaves into the frame on the right top is very good idea. I like the texturise effect as well.
