Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Long ago, the Vikings turned their attention to what is now England. They settled along the east coast and there is lots of evidence of their settlements in East Anglia (mainly Norfolk and Suffolk).

Though I was a little disappointed with Sherringham (though it was a grey day), I was delighted by the murals situated around the town, depicting important events or links with the town.

Please click on the Vikings are Coming to see the this photograph much larger and clearer.

The one in my main post obviously remembered the town's link with the Vikings. I have left part of the billboard next to the mural to try to give it a context.

As a workshop, I will add a second mural emphasising the town's historical importance as a lifeboat station.

Have a lovely day, Bev:-)
Today it is wet but I have to tell you what a beautiful day we had yesterday for out annual Agricultural Show.
