Photographer's Note
This is a photo of the amazing piece of artwork called "Aother Place", by British artist Anthony Gormley.
The display consists of 100 life-size iron casts of the artist's body, spread over 3 km of beach at Crosby, Liverpool. Each statue is fixed into the ground at varying depths and at different distances out to sea, with each one looking towards the sea. During the day and night the tides come and go and cover each statue to differing degrees.
The exhibition has previously been displayed in Germany, Norway & Belgium, but now is permanently situated in Liverpool.
Unfortunately the sky is blown out in the this photo, but I particularly like the reflection in the pool, so thought it was worthy of upload.

I would like to have you as my teacher for learning photography. This is all I wish to say. I wish I could spend some time with you while you are with your camera.
