Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I don't know how well Charles Dickens is known outside of the U.K. but he was a Victorian author whose books were immensely popular when he wrote them and have continued to be popular to the modern day.

Many of his stories have been converted into films, some into musicals!

His stories vividly conjure up scenes of Victorian England, often with an underlying theme for social reform.

At this time of year 'A Christmas Carol' is the most topical of his stories, so the view, through a leaded window, onto a high street of Victorian buildings sets the scene well.

I will add workshops showing the inside of the building, here now a pizzeria, and the attractive Christmas lamp outside here .

Enjoy your Sunday, Bev :-)
