Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I may have mentioned previously that I have been sorting out my photograph files and, therefore, have been visiting places that I visited long ago.

Please take the effort to click on The Waterfront at Liverpool which shows the photograph much larger and clearer.

This photograph was taken when I travelled down the Manchester Ship Canal from Manchester to Liverpool.

It was a dismal, grey day so my photographic record looked much better in black and white rather than colour.

This is a view of the waterfront at Liverpool. The Liver Building (with its adorning Liver Birds) is so prominent that I can understand why it was a welcome sight to sailors returning from long trips abroad.

I will add another photograph along the waterfront, as a w/s, to show the new City of Liverpool Museum, quite a change in architecture from the more traditional buildings.

It is quite a grey day here, in Lancashire today, heavy rain to wash away the thin coating of snow that arrived yesterday! I hope you have a brighter day, Bev :-)
