I agree with the clock burning out too much, but the colours/composition look super in this and it is a classic London shot.

Classical perhap's but very well done!
Long exposition time, against the light and light on the building and Big Ben is very well taken, water reflection very good. I like also the sky, blue hour?

Unlike the others I will not comment on the nice motive and the nice dramatic sky.
I will comment on the overexposed lights, which I do not like and for my personal taste destroys the whole photo. Therefore (for the overexposure of lights) I give you one point to let you know, that you can improve your skills concerning the light conditions (HDR/DRI for instance).

Hello Varahram -

Yes, this is a classic London view. Capturing the scene right at the end of the blue hour saves it from looking like the classic snapshot. I think you have done a good job at capturing the feel and texture of the time, but there are a few problems with the image, IMO. The image is slightly a skew to the right and should be corrected. Trying to get the right exposure in these types of shots is difficult, but I feel 8 sec's might have been a bit too long as the face of the bell tower is grossly OE'd. Personally I would have preferred a bit of texture in the clock rather than a bright light. Otherwise, a very good image.
