Well, I am happy to give you your first points. This is a pretty classic shot, you've done a very good job with a good exposure. A slightly slower one may have left the clock of Big Ben in more detail. Thanks for sharing and welcome to Trekearth.

Interesting capture for a very recogonizable scene. I give you 100 points for finding a scene not often duplicated.

Hello Daniel, welcome to TE.
I've always thought TE is the right place for you. People here should see what an amazing photographer you are. I love the way you play with light and the way you show us London at night. I'm still waiting for your Camden Town shots; I mean the horse market, Camden Lock, the shops and all those interesting people from all over the world. The last one in the Strand was amazing as usual.
I'm looking forward to your next photo.

Hi Daniel,
Stunning glimpse from London nigh!
The effect got with such slow shutter speed is very impressive, the lines and drawings made by the moving lights makes this a unique picture.
My compliments and welcome to TE.
Thanks a lot to share the picture.

Hi Daniel,
Welcome to TE! Great debut shot. Well seen and shot. Lovely colours and contrast. Wonder if you could have reduced the exposure slightly. The top of Big Ben is slightly overexposed.
Congrats!

Brilliant work Daniel, a traditional subject with streaks of futuristic light. Shutter speed is spot on, the slighest amount more and the clock would have been blown out. Great stuff.

What an opening photo as entrée here on TE, welcome Daniel, starting with a very slow shutterspeed on a tripod (I never use on travelling, too much ballast) to get all the lightlines of the traffic as graphic enhancement view on the Westminster, an excellent capture, the clockface slightly washed out most probably to recapitulate a bit but we can see clearly the hour of shooting.
Have fun here (a tip: no need for thanks unless something else is brought up for discussions)

Another super cool night shot. Your artistic background really shows when viewing your photos. Your compositions are beautifully balanced. I really like the curved lines of light from the double decker bus in this image and the way they flow all the way through the photograph. Nice to have you here on Trekearth.

First time, I stumble onto your gallery Daniel, you really got something about night photo don't you. Those red lines, a real treat for the eyes. Double deckers are a blessing for night photographers... if not what would have populated the upper half of the image.
I'll keep an eye on your gallery for sure.

Hi Daniel
Have just discovered your gallery and I'm very impressed - welcome to TE! London is a fantastic place for night shots and this one works very well with the light trails adding dynamism, and you managed well not to overexpose except for the clock face - quite tricky in this kind of shot. I wonder if you have tried similar shots in the blue hour, when there is still some light in the sky? Often the results are pleasing. Thanks for the link to your artwork too - even more impressive :-)

Great shot Daniel! As you've probably noticed, I'm a sucker for night shots; and this is cracker! The streaks of the bus add a fresh and dynamic feel to an often photographed scene. This image is the one I feel should represent London 2012; the colours feel "Olympic" to me, and the light trails flow like ribbons through the scene, and you've captured an iconic London landmark in there as well.
My only slight nit is that the clock face is a little bit blown out; but it doesn't really detract too much. When I shoot the Houses of Parliament I always take a second shot exposed for the clock face and then merge it back afterwards.
For some reason, although I've used tail lights in my shots before, it never occurred to me to try with double decker buses. Probably because there aren't any here ;) It's a really great idea!
Overall; an excellent shot :D

Olá Daniel, quite impressive images of London at night that you have in your gallery. It reminds me the photos of Aubrey (rosaline) that is not an active member anymore. This looks like a curtain of light, a veil floating in the air, spread all over the city. The dynamic effect is wonderful contrasting well with the stillness of the Westminster.

Salut Daniel
Je suis très fan des prises de nuit et celle-ci est vraiment excellente, les lumières des voitures lui donnent un coté plus dynamique.

Hi Daniel,
a really spectacular night shot of a well-known landmark of London. The long exposure's effect is fantastic and the red and white streaks add a lot of interest and beauty to the shot. Great one!
Tfs and best wishes.
