Photographer's Note

This shot was taken at dusk without a tripod and without a flash. Thankfully Londeners drive quick enough that the shutter didn't have to be open too long & there was just enough natural light left to capture the vibrancancy of the neon colours.

The photo is meant to depict the mesmerizing pace of modern London. It took a couple of shots to get the timing just right. Here, the light had just turned green at the zebra crossing. It was just enough time for the cars to get moving, but there was still a brief instant before the masses pouring out of the tube station could crowd the crosswalk.

There are only two, still in the movement, waiting their turn to go on with the flow...
