Horse Guards fronts Horse Guards Parade, the vast parade ground where the Queen takes the salute at the Trooping of The Colour ceremony on her official birthday. The building was designed by William Kent, the then Chief Architect to George II.
House Guards is constantly guarded by troopers of the Household Cavalry. Two mounted cavalry troopers are posted outside daily from 10 am to 4 pm, and are relieved every hour.
The Guard Changing Ceremony takes place each weekday at 11:00am and at 10:00am on Sundays and is performend by The Queen's Life Guard.

Horse Guards frente al Horse Guards Parade, la gran plaza de armas donde la reina toma el saludo en la Marcha de la Ceremonia de Color en su cumpleaños oficial.
El edificio fue diseñado por William Kent, el entonces arquitecto en jefe de George II.
La Horse Guards es constantemente custodiado por soldados de la Caballería Real. Dos soldados de caballería montada estan en el frente diariamente de 10 am a 4 pm, y son relevados cada hora.
La ceremonia de Cambio de Guardia se lleva a cabo de lunes a viernes a las 11:00 am y a las 10:00 los domingos y es llevada a cabo por la Guardia de la Vida de la Reina.
