Photographer's Note
The huge space that is the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern gallery provides a play space for these children.
A photographic exhibition Exposed :Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera is on until 3rd October. Thanks to my friend Gunnar who proved me with the link.

Hi Bev,
This is probably a photo that could suit the ongoing exhibition! I Googled and found this link, this seems to be a very interesting exhibition. This is indeed a very minimalistic and simple capture, like a picture from a surveillance camera, and the children are definitely unaware of having their picture taken. They are in their own world, isolated and totally alone. The patterns in the flooring, joints and cracks, are, in a way, enhancing this feeling here. A very different picture! Very well seen and captured!
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hello Bev,
Gunnar has it in a nutshell. That link he gives to details of the exhibition is excellent and perhaps the title of your photograph should be "Exposed", just as this little group of children is in this huge empty space.
The concept and the composition are excellent but, going again with that all-pervading "Rule of Thirds", I just wonder what it would be like if the little group sat at the lower left "powerpoint" (crossing of thirds), especially as the little girl on the right is pointing towards the top right corner of the picture - it might give an even greater sense of space and "emptiness"?
Not sure if there's enough detail here, but I think I might just try a wee workshop and see what it looks like. Hope that's all right with you, Bev.
Best Wishes,
John.

Hello Bev,
I completely agree with John and Gunnar's thoughts on this picture.
John's WS has propounded the thirds gospel - I think it particularly applies in a minimalist image as this.
Was this the floor that had the large crack [conceptual art?] running across it sometime ago?
My only disappointment is the lack of sharpness in the figures of the children – perhaps the low file size [164kb] has something to do with this.
Kind regards,
Peter.
