Photographer's Note
Just a random street shot. Oxford Street if I remember right. This pretty girl caught my attention. I'm sure she's not really lost but she sure has a lost, pensive resigned or wistful expression. Her slimness and black tight fitting clothes makes me think that she looks like a ballerina in a leotard.

Hi Bev,
This is good street shot, it has an expressive moment, perhaps a story unfolds here. Well done.

Hello Bev,
Certainly, I wouldn't normally praise the inclusion of headless bodies but, I have to say, I find that it adds to the mood of the shot. The girl does look lonely, almost abandonned, and the inclusion of the faceless people, and their reflections, around her, emphasises her isolation, no-one is connecting with her.
It is a very powerful image, perhaps even more so than the little boy on the steps!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Jeeze, Bev, another great streetshot. If kids are mine, these are yours. She looks so lost in her thoughts and oblivious to all going on around her. The colors are perfect for it, too. Grays and blacks .. nothing bright or cheery to distract from the moodiness of the shot. And despite all you can tell IS going on, the focus is perfectly drawn to your subject. Your streetshots always make me wonder what these people are thinking about and what their story is. GREAT job! Many thanks and hope your ankle is doing better.

Hi Bev,
I guess this is one of those moments when you only have a few second to decide and to take the photo. I van imagine that you already saw the picture in a very brief moment before you took. The result here is really excellent, a young in her own space og the world. Many persons around that we barely notice but they kind of emphesize the lonely situation of this "ballerina!
Kind regards
Gunnar
