Photographer's Note
What do they sell there, I don't really know. But I found this long long line in front of a shop entrance in the Camden Lock Market.
Tech: Desaturated everything but the red SALE sign. By using sharpening tool several times I pixelized the b/w areas. Added contrast and noise.
First time that I try this tech, let's see it as an experiment. What do you say?
As a WS, I'll post the original photo, before PP.

Cool, grainy people, I'm liking those more and more. Your PP is very interesting in this one, and the snap itself is great all these consumers just waiting to spend money ;o)

This is an interesting photo Yitzhak; it has a very '50s feel to it, which is helped along by the graininess. It's good that you experiment & offer us variety in texture.

Good street-scene with a fine crowd, interesting to study the photos.
Your experiment gives a special personality to the shot, and I think it is appropiate for the given motive.
I'm not really convinced about leaving the sign red, while graphically very effective, it removes the sign from the context of the photo and makes it look like something patsted in place in a collage kind of way.

très bon cliché. j'aime beaucoup la file d'attente contre le mur marqué au rouge. Ce qui attire mon regard c'est le visage du mannequin qui n'a rien d'humain. Le n&b va très bien avec cette scène de rue. bien fait.

Very good picture, the PP is very good and it creates a very good atmosphere (sorry can't find the right word) in the picture, leaving the red in the sign is very good decision.

Good PP work, Yitzhak, it certainly takes this one level higher than an "ordinary" street scene. I guess for this busy kind of urban environment with a lot of people and details in it the technique is certainly more appropriate than say for a nature topic. The red SALE sign really looks like a magnet pulling people inside ;-) Well done.

Good use of PP here to accentuate the topic. Interesting effective daily life shot. Got some catching up to do, missed a lot of postings last week.

Hey Yitzhal, this is alomst scary, those greedy people, and thid I like your choice of adding grain very much, also the B&W is very good.
Did they need a new TV?

A great street scene, Yitzhak, with what looks like people queuing right onto the road. The graininess, choice of B/W and electronics sign, makes me think of the first day TVs appeared in shops.

VERY nice picture. I really like all this noise, and the way you capture attention with your big red ad. really look like a 1950 picture.
the people on the right are looking inside the building, it's very well done...

Nice to watch this one Yitzhak - I like the effect with desaturation and this reminds me of a photo - which I planned to PP this way but forgot - Yes this seems to be a common sight around the world - nobody can turn a good offer away ;-)

Good title for your great shot and a fine result your pp turned out to be. I like the use of b&w and noise for the clutter of people in this urban context. Keeping the sale sign in color was an interesting and great idea and it emphasizes your theme. Well done. Great composition.

Waouh.
You did a good job with the Post processing.
I like what you did since the original version is just common.
This one is great with the grain and that red sign.

Indeed this an interesting work in PP. The street shot and casual feeling is very nice on this one. I also think it could work with much less noise as the BW/color technique and the hard contrast already create a great (and the main) effect.

Excellent use of partial desaturation. A bit too much grain for my taste but it still works. I like the expressions on the faces of those three people in the foreground. A creative street shot – very well done, Yitzhak.

Hi Yitzhak!
Very well done! By making everything but the sale sign desaturated- it tells the story all by itself. Not even a need for a story!
I like the noise filter you have added to the photo- it works.
Very good job,
- Dan

Insteressante o contraste entre o preto e branco e o vermelho da placa, uma boa idéia para o destaque. Comparando com a foto original o efeito obtido é infinitamente superior. Bom trabalho.
