Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

The building that I have posted was once a barn, its high doorway suggesting that it was used for storing hay or straw and would allow a trailer piled high with bales to enter. There is a stable attached to the end.

It has been modernised and now provides a large, characterful home with central heating and essential services.

My workshop shows the farmhouse to which this barn is attached. The farm and barn were built in 1661.

There are many old, stone properties in this village, hardly surprising when a stone quarry is to be found on its outskirts.

My warm regards, Bev :-)
