Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

After contemplating daffodils and Easter Eggs, today the country has returned to Arctic conditions so I feel justified in posting a very snowy scene!

To enjoy the photograph much bigger and far clearer, please click on Spring into Winter . It is worth the effort.

The wind is howling and the snow swirling and not even for Luciano am I inspired to brave the conditions to take a photograph. Please be content with some from previous snowy outings!

My main post shows how my village looks after a snow storm. We are quite high, on the edge of the Pennines and are almost always several degrees colder than nearby villages.

A brave man was eager to clear the road for vehicles. Such an action would be no use today as the wind would quickly blow the fine snow back over the road.

I will add another photograph as a w/s to show how the conditions compare on the moorland.

I hope it's much warmer where you are, Bev :-)
