Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

Today, my photograph is simplistic but one that I just love. It shows the moorlands between the village where I live and Haworth. Haworth is famous as the village where the Bronte sisters lived and where they wrote their famous novels.

The Brontes would have walked over these moors on their way to Wycoller and laneshawbridge, which they were known to visit.

From the photograph, I wonder if you get a sense of the wildness, portrayed in Wuthering Heights; maybe the clouds, sitting below the horizon, foster that mood!

Whatever, it is one of my favourite shots. I hope you like it too, Bev :-)
