Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

Well, having spent a short TE Meeting in Liverpool, where we visited the Beatles early venues, the next point of call had to be Blackpool to see the show 'Let It Be'.

'Let It Be' is a show about the life and music of Beatles. I thought it would be good but the show exceeded all my expectations. I have to say, there were four exceptionally talented musicians/actors taking the parts of the Fab Four.

I had never, before, seen so many 'elderly' people standing in the aisles dancing or waving their arms in the air!

My only disappointment was that, whilst I had taken my Canon Powershot, I never realised that I was shooting in jpeg rather than RAW. Consequently, I cannot make the shots as big as I would like without blurring them. The shots I have posted are very much on the edge!

Anyway, the scene shows Blackpool Promenade, with the famous tower in the background. (I will add a closer shot of Blackpool Tower as a w/s.) I must tell you, we went right to the top of the tower, 518ft, (158metres) and looked down, through a glass floor at the miniscule people on the promenade!

My warm regards,
Bev :-)
