Good Morning Everyone,

I have been very busy lately and so have not had time to photograph or to upload photographs.

Anyway, here is my last photograph from my visit to Greenberfield Locks on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal.

As we walked back towards the car park, I was delighted to see two cyclists who had stopped for a rest; they made a colourful focal point and were unaware that I intended to photograph them!

The building behind them is part of a farm building. The owners have taken advantage of their attractive location and from Easter to September, they open a delightful cafe, serving light meals, snacks and drinks. It has a good reputation!

Hello Bev,
This is a well composed photo in a style I would probably have recognized as yours, even without your signature. There are several diagonals, and a row of small bollards underscore the sense of depth along the water. The ladies (I suppose) on the bench provide colours and life, and furthermore the trees still without leaves look graphically nice against the clear blue sky.

Hi Bev,you have been busy, but now that you have left the pastoral council as I read on facebook, you will have more free time ... ehhee..beautiful photo once again from the canals, the scenery is enriched by cyclists resting in the sun, their colors give a touch of brilliance to the composition, excellent quality again this time. Canal view mwith the (reconized) bridge and same barge as shown before, yet another different POV. I find this POV the better choice, it includes more objects and beautiful sky color reflection over water.

Such a lovely early spring mood here, best shown by the people sitting on the bench in the pleasant sunshine. The composition is very good, well balanced between the canal and the path.

Lovely weather!
Lots of lines in the foreground lead the eye towards these charming buildings and luckily the cyclists had the courtesy to wear bright clothes contrasting with the stone wall and the vegetation. :-)

Beautiful sunny day! The sky so pleasantly blue. The colors are well saturated. Two bikers contribute additional bright colors. The path leads our eyes to the farm in the centre. Very well done!

Charming composition of this place so calm and beautiful, ideal for strolling along the path along the river, cyclists found a good place for a break, I love these big trees, with the great graphics that their bare branches give.

I noticed you went for a walk along the canal because it translated into a couple photos of this place. We can already see the first symptoms of spring because the grass is green but the trees do not have leaves yet.
Nice long perspective of the path and anchor poles with the addition of cyclists.
