Photographer's Note

The last week has had extremely heavy rain and in turn it has caused many floods.
This shot was taken down at Brading marshes on the Isle of Wight, the river Yar had burst its banks, flooding the marsh land surrounding it.
I was driving past during a heavy rain shower and noticed there were some really nice reflections, so i waited until the rain had almost stopped and took a walk out onto the marsh land in my wellington boots.

I thought that PP had caused some odd issues with the red and pink in the sky but i realised that the original raw file looked a little odd in the pinks of the cloud too.

I used an ND8 Graduated filter.

NOTE: The darkish blob in the top right hand side is a dust spot that i forgot to clone out!
