Photographer's Note

My first summer type photo of the season :-)
This was shot near Brading during a warm spring evening.
The Oilseed Rape flowers have come out somewhat later than in previous years due to the cold winter.

I wasn't planning to take this shot, i just so happened to have my camera on me as i drove home from Ryde to Shanklin, but as i drove along, i could see in my rear view mirror that the colours were getting pretty strong.
I stopped at the first photogenic location i could find, which just so happened to be this field.
The composition was a little confusing because of tree line at the edge of the field, but i managed to get a couple of quite nice shots.

I used an ND8 Graduated filter
