Photographer's Note
Summer has arrived and Hampshire's roses are coming into bloom! Being on the south coast the warm climate here (for the UK!) suits roses; they also grow well in our clay soil. Unfortunately they are a succulent treat for aphids... I spent an hour and a half up a ladder squashing the little beasts (we try to do organic gardening, no artificial fertiliser or pesticides), the neighbours thought I was a nutter.
Fair point.

Nice macro picture Steve. Lots of details and great sharpness. I like the soft colours. Well done.

Hi, Steve
Spend a few bugs, get yourself a book named"The Monk who sold his ferrari", published inarragement with HarperCollins Publishers Ltd Toronto, Canada.
From this read the chapter"A most extra ordinary garden"
You will love the roses a 1000 times more and will come to know the power a rose emiits.
Just do it.
