Photographer's Note

Another shot from last Autumn, the fog was dense and the forest was soaking wet. Maybe a ray of sunshine piercing through would have improved the mood maybe not!

This shot is just perfect the way it is - you don't need rays of sunshine or anything else here. The mood is wonderful, the soft blue light coming through the mist and silhouetting the distant trees beautifully.

Lovely lighting, superb colours and, as usual, perfect sharpness.

Hello Aleks,
a magical, moody autumnal image.I like the way the tree trunks are seen through the mist.They are dak and skeletal and reminds us that winter is on its way.But meanwhile we can enjoy a scrunching, crunchy wal through the fallen leaves. I can almost feel the atmosphere here.

I love the light: or lack of it! Most photographers would probably have packed up and gone to the pub, but you have really caught an atmospheric moment. Colour and composition are excellent too. I'd love to know the location.
