December Sunset, a photo from Essex, England

Photographer's Note

I took this picture during an afteroon/evening walk at the St Osyth Priory nature reserve in Essex. There was heavy snow cover and the light from the setting sun looked amazing against the snow covered fields. I had only just starting using my first SLR camera when I took this picture so it was taken with automatic settings and no lens filters or long exposure. I have since learnt more about how my camera works but this particular evening the scene that nature had created did all of the work!
