Not Sailing Today, a photo from East Sussex, England

Photographer's Note

Took a trip to the beach today in Hastings, which is a stone beach (Bit Safer for the Camera)
There were various old boats spread along the beach but this one caught my eye, especially with the seaguls using it as a perch!

ps. This is the first picture iv posted with my new camera, it is a great piece of kit!

looks like it definatly wont be sailing today russell! nic shot well composed, im just a bit put off by the right hand side there seems to be a black thing that looks like it doesnt belong? what is it? nice sky, pity the bird wasnt looking at you though! :)

Great colours, and a great sky (is that thanks to a polarising filter I hear so much of on here?). I like the POV, makes the boat look much bigger than it really is. I thought it was a pirate ship at first glance with all the bits sticking up on it. Looks like your new camera has done you proud.
