The Lanes

I have been to Brighton quite often now, but had never really visited the area in the city centre called The Lanes before. It's a collection of narrow streets with many small shops, mainly antique shops and jewellers. The Lanes were built during the late 17th century. This photo was taken at the corner of Brighton Place and Market Street in the early evening of last Wednesday.
