Boats, Black and White, a photo from Durham, England

Photographer's Note

This was taken the historic city of Durham, but I suppose it doesn't make much of a difference where it was taken. These boats were lined by the side of the river, waiting for tourists to appear.
Durham is more famous for two World Heritage sites, Durham Castle and Cathedral.

like this composition. It is very creative and so perfectly executed. The light and sharp details here are so well controlled and the aspect of the image inspired. Works perfectly in B&W and stands out as an imaginative presentation. Well done!

Hi Mohan,
This is an interesting capture. The depth of field and cotrast is great in b&w. However, my only suggestion would be, if you could've framed the boats on the right without cropping them.
