Photographer's Note

My previous post was of the natural texture of rocks by the beach; today another texture, but this time it is man-made taking inspiration from nature.

I have always had a fondness for rusty items, so I had to take some shots of this.
Can you guess what the inspiration was?

A sycamore seed! Sometimes referred to as a sycamore key, in other words a seed from a sycamore tree.

The artist who created this piece is Will Carr. It is made from steel.

"The kinetic wind sculptures I create explore the geometry and form interacting in their environment.
The natural flows and influences of interactions in our world are demonstrated through the complex geometry and balance of the pieces."

Two more pictures in the workshop.

Thank you for looking.
