Photographer's Note

The grounds of Saltram House, a National Trust property quite near to where I live.
Over recent years there has been more emphasis on planting wild flowers, and here a mixture of summer flowers to encourage the bees to come.
Many naturalists are extremely concerned about the bee population, as they have been in decline.

In the background, the white building is the Orangerie, where as the name suggests, oranges and lemons are grown. The weather has been so hot, that the citrus plants have been put outside, and are flourishing.
Another shot in the w/shop.

Thank you for all your comments and interest.
