Photographer's Note
This picture was taken at an exhibition in Plymouth of photographs about slavery around the world.
We tend to think of slavery as taking people from Africa and sending them to America.
Sadly slavery still goes on today in many countries of the world, may be in a more subtle way but none the less just as nasty.
Those enslaved endure exploitation and virtual imprisonment, they often have to put up with physical and often sexual abuse.

Hello mike. Photo, photo and a visitor. A good choice is black-and-white. A worth seeing photo. Photographically exemplary realizes with the small LX3. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Ciao Mike,
really an interesting picture that show us these sad images.
The girl's pose is really excellent. The framing is good (maybe I would have cropped the "half" photo in the left...)

Hello Mike,
This shot is interesting to look at, due to the 'rhythm' created by the row of photos, and the interesting silhouette of the young woman. The content of the exhibits then becomes apparent and the subject of the shot deepens. I agree with Anna that at least some of the LH photo could be cropped - the image in this one is not so strong and tends to 'tail-off' towards the edge.
Interesting and thought provoking image.
Best wishes....Maggie
