Shades of green, a photo from Devon, England

Photographer's Note

Shades of green.....I guess that there are lots of shots with this title, but this was what I thought of as I looked at this scene.

Walking on one of the paths on Dartmoor, we followed this water channel for quite a way before it began to descend to the reservoir.
You can see how clean and clear the water is.We spotted small fish darting about in the stream,but they were very shy, and soon disappeared when they saw our shadows.

Hello Jean,
The title fits well to the photo, which has indeed many shades of green, from the far distant deep bluish green to the foreground yellowish ones. I like the POV and composition and the natural colours. Good clarity and sharpness. TFS!

been overly busy with work lately, but catching up with y'all little by little. I appreciate your recent visit and upon looking at your latest posts I reckon I'll pick up this one for today. There's something in it that reminds me of those long gone days I used to spend as a kid, fishing in the countryside in northern Italy... A picture that does perfect justice to its title, and that little stream cutting through is just beautiful. Great atmosphere, excellent presentation. TFS! Have a nice weekend, my friend. Hi Jean,
excellent perspective and superbs colours and well used of lighting.
The depiction of this exciting sceenery is really wonderful.
I like the small details of grasses and trees.
