Photographer's Note

Still in the grounds of Renishaw Hall, there is this folly.Known as 'The Arch in the Park'.
Who knows whether it ever had a proper roof? It hasn't now.
The building is similar to a gate house but, there is no gate.
The building was built of beautiful sandstone on the outside with interior walls of brick.
I liked all the shapes and textures of this place.

Renishaw Hall is privately owned and still occupied. The gardens are open to the public.

Thanks for your visit.
