Photographer's Note
"Does this hard looking dummy really needs a pair of specs?" Taken from outside a spectacle shop window in Matlock. Thanks for looking.

Hello Jasmine,
This is very creative. You made the most of a great opportunity, so very well seen and taken. The heads are arranged well in the space and I like the sharpness of the head in the middle and the blurriness of what I am guessing is a reflection of a head further back. The b/w treatment works very well especially as the glasses are nice and black.
A great image.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hello Jasmine,
A novel composition that grabs the attention. The Union Jacks make a good contrast with the severe looking heads. Black and white was certainly the right choice here.

Hi Jasmine,
This is funny and calls for questions : Is this an optician's shop-window or is it an exhibition in an art gallery ?
There is no doubt about the British origin though :-)
The dummy in the centre looks very serious : Advert for glasses for a serious golden boy ?
As for the lady on the right, she seems to be wondering whether the specs suit her ...
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regrds.
Marie-Louise.

Hi Jasmine,
Very creative and unique shot, and found in such a place too! Black and white is a great choice, and it suits the subject so well, and I love the reflections on the left, that tall necked dummy looks like its straining to hear the conversation between the others. Gives a lovely sense of life to the scene.
All the best

Hello Jasmine,
This is a fine and original composition, very interesting and slightly puzzling. What am I really looking at? I think b&w gives these heads the best treatment and captures the contrasts very well. The little Union Jack is a fine detail that once again makes me wonder what I am looking at.
Kind regards,
Gert
