Photographer's Note

This picture of part of the Castlerigg Stone Circle was taken on a the recent TE meeting in Keswick, Cumbria (the Lake District). We visted the circle after breakfast so the light was still very good for photography. The circle was built in about 1400 BC from local slate and there about 60 stones and the tallest is about 7 feet.
As soon as the visitors started arriving, the sheep moved on so I was lucky to catch this one.
