Photographer's Note
Walking through the wild Cumbrian Country side I spotted this father and son ahead of me.. There were some big rocks for the little lad and not much view- he eventually persuaded his father to carry him

Hi Rich. A nice shot of the two.One day the father is strong, a giant- the next he is a frail old man and the son becomes the tower of strength. So it is and has been for millenia. And life is a hard slog uphill too. a photo that has a lot in it. Personally I would have cropped part of the bright right hand corner. Best wishes. Klaudio.

Hi Rich,
This is very nice post taken with a superb sense of depth. Like the way you cropped it and composed using great DOF and sharpness. Original and creative work! TFS.
Have a nice day!

'Dont know how I missed this little beauty; it has a curious echo for me, as I often end up having to carry my little 'un, up a path not so dissimilar to this.
Lovely metaphor for life, as Klaudio alludes, life's up hill struggle, first carried, then carrying...
Good colour in what looks to be tricky light, the mosses work especially well. I bet though it was the flash of red that caught your photographer's eye though...
