Photographer's Note

"So much history", this is the church at St. Buryan, west Cornwall, and there has been a church on this site for over 1000years.

The tower is a 4 stage granite tower, 92 feet high and double buttressed at each angle. It is visible for miles across the Cornish landscape.

Completed in 1501 after taking 21 years to build, using local Lamorna cut granite. (The same stone that was used to build old London Bridge - now in Arizona.)
Two more shots in the workshop.

Thanks for looking.
