Hello Geof,
I like the two different textures of the water. In the background the river seem peaceful and ten the rapids in the foreground add a lot of interest to the image. Good pont of view and good colours. This is a nice image. Thanks.

Hello Geof,
A very nice perspective to this pretty composition with excellent lighting. Pleasing contrasts in the movement of the water; calm and serene in the background and then rushing over the weir. Good exposure management.
As an aside, at that time (1989) I was mainly using Kodak Ektachrome stock.

Hello,
Very nice aspect, actually pleasing contrasts in the movement of the water; calm and serene in the background and then rushing over the weir. Thanks.

Hi Geof,
Excellent light and a very fine composition. Nice to see a small waterfall without someone building a power plant across it. This is such a peaceful place.

Hello, Geof.
This is a lovely autumn shot. I love the reflections on the still water in the background and the way the light through the trees has lit up that rough water at the bottom of the weir. Very nice indeed. Great autumn colours too and a sky which still retains some colour (the skies these days are often totally white).
Excellent!
Best Wishes,
John.
