Hi Matthew;

I see what you were going for here, but I think you would have been better off using a graduated ND filter to darken up the sky giving you balance to the darker ground. The overall PP work with the HDR has given the image an unrealistic look with an unnatural halo around the barn.

When it comes to PP work, the one rule of thumb I always try to live by is that it should not be noticeable.

very nice image. I liekd its simplicity. the shapes and lines of the barn created a marvelous effect using this perfect light. nice job.
