Photographer's Note
Wandering through the Greek ruins of Chersonesos (or Khersones) on the south side of Sevastopol I came upon this man capturing in paint the image of the Prince Volodymyr Cathedral on the rise beyond. He was gracious enough to allow me to capture the capture of the cathedral.

Excellent picture. The composition and title tell the story. If the sky had not been washed out it would be a classic, but I really like the shot. TY

You have good contrast; maybe lower the value a little so the dome will show up. When I was in this very spot, the sun was shining. I made an etching of this cathedral from my photos.
