Photographer's Note

This shot was taken at the outskirts of Valky, small town in the West of Kharkivska oblast (province), on the first day of my bike trip over Sloboda Ukraine and some Dnieper’s oblasts of Ukraine - Poltavska, Kirovohradska and Dnipropetrovska. The landscape in the picture is typical for Sloboda Ukraine, which is in the South of Central Russian Upland, and looks mostly like a rolling plain. This particular place is higher than other areas of Kharkivska oblast because there is the watershed between the drainage basins of rivers Dnieper and Don there.

The photo was taken at the time, when the sun was in pretty low position, and colors were of some yellowish or pinkish hues, maybe too warm. More stronger colors are in my WS.
