Photographer's Note

This is Svyato-Ioano-Bogoslovskiy Khram (Saint John the Apostle Church), one of the oldest churches in Kharkivska Oblast. It situated in the village of Kurilivka (3620 inhabitants in 2001) in the Kupianskiy Raion. Initially (in XVII century), the church was built in Kupiansk, and then it was disassembled and transported in Kurilivka, where it was assembled and planked 170 years ago.

A very pleasant summer view, the impression of a warm summer day is clearly present here. This is a very beautiful church with very attractive architecture and colours. You note is also very interesting.

Vraiment jolie cette petite église de bois bien conservée. Elle est bien présentée dans une excellente composition et un bel éclairage. J'aime bien aussi la belle clôture en avant-plan. L'harmonie de couleurs est merveilleuse.
