Photographer's Note
After the night on Pilatus, we went to see the city of Luzern and as i had already heard from people before, this is an extremely attractive city.
We were lucky to have some really nice spring weather with plenty of sun, perfect for a stroll in the city.
I know that this view is the common view from Luzern, which is one of the reasons for converting to B+W, this time i actually think the color version is better.
The mountain in the back of the picture is Mount pilatus where we spent the night before.
I have uploaded the original as workshop.
Hope you like it

Excellent b&w cityscape, the beautiful architecture, the covered bridge, the sky and the foggy mountains look great. I have always liked your b&w.

This is a wonderful picture. I like the POV. I visited Luzern earlier this year, I wish I had of thought to take a B/W picture on this scene, excellent job, really nice.

Hi Harry!
Indeed a classic scene but you gave to it a timeless look by converting to b&w. Excellent composition and perspective. Congratulations!

Hi Harry,
very beautiful photo. I like the b+w colourd and the artificial look of it. Technically it is a really interesting composition.

Excellent clarity in this beautiful B&W shot. The levels of grey seems very large. Good work.

Hi Harry!
It may be a classical view but it's great. The original is very good but somehow this conversion made it original. The pov is excellent also!

Wonderful B&W photo Harry. Love the bright here. The church of the righ side has a very pretty architecture. You have a good POV too with the bridge on the left. And the good depth was good to see mountain details.
Perfect!

Looks like a fairy tail place !!!
Buildings, mood, peace... Everything to be unusually perfect.
And the PP enhances that.
Excellent.

A superb composition, Harry. I like the B&W here 'cause the very rich ornamentation of the Luzern architecture doesn't distracts here and helps the graphical character of this one a lot. Very good work.
Have a nice weekend,
Bert

I have no idea how you get this effect but when I look at these b&w photos I am always in awe. There is something very nice about the effect but it does require a damn good photo to begin with. Much appreciated
