Photographer's Note

The village of Corippo in Verzasca valley, not far from Locarno, is the smallest municipality of Switzerland with only 11 inhabitants.

I simply wonder how people have earned their livings in earlier times. The valley in the very centre of Ticino canton is rugged, wild, difficult to access and was therefore uninteresting for conquerors of any kind. It is now an eldorado for nature enthusiasts, hikers and mountaineers.
Taken on slide film with Canon A1, professionally digitalized.

@kasianowak: There is a most interesting concept to convert parts of the 70-houses village into an "albergo diffuso", literally a "dispersed hotel", charging 100-120 for a room with breakfast, to keep the village alive. As far as I could find out, they intended to start in spring, 2019.
